The colors serve good the whole atmosphere and I like your composition.I don't understand why the mechanical hand too and If you don't have your special reasons for this I don't sure you need it...
The quality of picture us a bit too low and I didn't succes to open the bigger version but I like this painting

Mmm.. I've draw a series character about the "Machine girl" subject. It's a sci-fi world that after a war, some people use the mechanical part (such as her hand) for injured body. It's for powerful attack and sth. else. These young girls are soldiers in the war, but their life is bad.
The iron hand and the tender body, makes contrast in the painting.

I really love this image. You created so much atmosphere through the angle and the warped sky, let alone the colours. I can almost feel exactly what she feels. At first I didnt like the mech hand, but after you set the scene it means so much more.
